During her 8 years working as Deputy General Manager at MFW, Fatina demonstrated success aligning people in different levels towards one vision to bringing the institution as the microfinance market leader in Jordan, and successfully introduced Micro-insurance and numerous other products for microfinance clients. Previous to MFW, Fatina was a consultant for more than 12 years. Her core tasks were: assessing the institutions capacity and delivering strategic plans for more than 50 projects in the public and private sector in the MENA Region. She has an expertise is re-engineering and restructuring institutions; she has also delivered training for multiple USAID programs. Fatina holds a BSc. in Chemistry and a M.Sc. in Transformation Management from “Buckingham University”, London.
Siva brings 20 years of experience in the fields of finance, administration, and corporate secretarial. Before joining Grameen-Jameel Microfinance Ltd. as CFO, he worked with DevCorp International, Goldstone Group of Companies and Anand Lakshmi Group. Siva is experienced in the fields of project financing, reviving sick industries and handling of public issues. He also served as Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and as Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Siva holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, and Bachelor of Sciences in Chemistry.
Alex has been with Grameen-Jameel since 2008. He carries more than 12 years of experience in the finance and accounting field, having served in several positions including accountant for planning and cost control in real estate, trading and contracting. Alex also brings 6 years of experience in administration and accounts, having worked with Saudi Arabian Oil Company (ARAMCO). In addition to his field, Alex demonstrates excellent knowledge of IT software and Microsoft packages. He has a Master’s of Commerce from St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirapally.
Zahra Khimdjee is an Investment Officer at Grameen-Jameel Microfinance Ltd. Since joining GJ in 2010, she has worked on several market feasibility studies and has experience in due diligence, analysis and evaluation of microfinance institutions in North Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, Sub- Saharan Africa and East Asia. She has worked on a number of Grameen-Jameel microfinance investments specifically in Jordan, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia and Turkey, and manages the GJ investment portfolio. Zahra holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs (Science-Po Paris) and in Management in Developing Countries (Dauphine University Paris). She has prior experience in the fields of development in an organization affiliated to the Aga Khan Development Network.
With a degree in International Relations, Patrizia has been working in the non-profit sector designing and implementing projects in the field of microfinance and rural development, women inclusion and migration, mainly in the Balkans and in Italy. In particular, in Albania she was engaged in programmes aimed at the improvement of conditions of low-income communities in rural and suburban areas through vocational training, business consulting and microcredit. Patrizia currently manages the BwB’s relationships and projects in Middle East, North Africa and Turkey. She first joined the Grameen-Jameel team in Dubai in September 2014 as a fellow for business development and strategy to address youth unemployment in the MENA region.
As a fellow, Samantha will work with Grameen-Jameel to develop a mobile financial services product for regional partners. Samantha has a background in areas of monitoring and evaluation and research in human security in the MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. She previously worked with US-based development organizations measuring women’s political leadership in Africa and evaluating programming aimed to improve the livelihoods of smallholder coffee farmers in East Africa. Samantha earned her Master of Public Policy specializing in international development and Bachelor of Arts in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland. While a student she studied in Morocco and the United Kingdom.
With 6 years of experience in office support Basheer joined Grameen-Jameel in 2007 as public relation officer and office support; he is responsible for public relations services with the government, embassies and concerned authorities. He moved from India to Dubai in 2004 and served as office clerk in an automotive company.
